SGI-USA and ICAP present The American Victory Orchestra in "Hot Classical to Cool Jazz", a Festival of music and dance in conjunction with Daniel Pearl World Music Days. Sherry Beall will MC this concert celebrating the freedom of the human spirit which will take place on Sunday, Oct. 26th at the World Peace Ikeda Auditorium on 6th & Wilshire in Santa Monica at 3:00 pm, and features such diverse performers as Jazz great Bennie Maupin & Friends, the Latin rhythms of Salsa with Jeff Hendricks, traditional Turkish song and dance with The Silk Road Ensemble, and the spectacular Cirque de Soleil dance duo Realis. Daniel Pearl's parents will be joining us and will be honored at this celebration. Please join us in our journey from Bach to African songs -- the concert is Free!

Healthy Planet, Healthy Me! Radio show with host and producer Sherry Beall is dedicated to bringing the latest facts to the forefront on Environmental and Health issues that directly impact each and everyone of us. Together, we explore solutions in creating a safer, healthier world for ourselves and our families into the future. We explore issues ranging from creating the healthiest home environment to creating the healthiest planet and the direct relation between the small picture, and the big picture. Today we face many environmental threats one of the biggest being Global Warming. Many scientists believe we’re past the tipping point, or just on the brink. What is essential is that we be willing to learn and be open to making changes in our everyday lives. Even just one small change, or one right choice is a step in the right direction! Today we are creating the world for our children’s tomorrow by each choice that we make. Healthy Planet, Healthy Me! is dedicated to exploring solutions for the change that is essential to our health, happiness and survival. Together we can absolutely create a better, safer world not only for today but for future generations and frankly, we must. Every choice we make, every cause we make, will dictate their future to be a living hell or living paradise, it’s up to us. We are all members of the same family, that of Mother Earth.
